YAKIMA - Backswing

The Yakima BackSwing is a heavy-duty swing-away hitch adaptor designed to give you easy access to the rear of your vehicle while your bike rack is still attached. It allows compatible hitch-mounted racks to swing completely to the side, making it particularly useful for SUVs, vans and vehicles where regular access to the boot or tailgate is important.

The BackSwing installs into a 50 mm / 2" hitch receiver, with your compatible rack mounting directly into the adaptor. A simple release system allows the entire rack to swing away from the vehicle, providing clear access without unloading your bikes or removing the rack.
