The Schwalbe Tacky Chan Radial is a high-performance MTB tyre developed for speed, aggressive cornering and powerful braking traction.

Born from World Cup downhill racing, the Tacky Chan combines an aggressive tread pattern with Schwalbe's Radial casing technology to deliver increased trail contact, improved damping and greater control through rough and technical terrain.

This 27.5 x 2.50" version combines the lighter Trail Pro casing with Schwalbe's versatile Soft compound, making it an excellent choice for aggressive trail, enduro and e-MTB riders who want gravity-inspired performance without the additional weight of a Gravity Pro casing.

Radial Technology

Schwalbe's Radial construction allows the casing to conform more effectively to the terrain. The altered carcass structure allows the tyre to deform more locally around trail features, increasing the amount of tread in contact with the ground.

Schwalbe states its Radial construction provides approximately 30% more contact area at the same tyre pressure, helping improve grip, damping and control through rough terrain.

Trail Pro + Soft

The Trail Pro casing provides a lighter alternative to Schwalbe's Gravity Pro construction, balancing protection, support and weight for riders who still need to pedal their bike to the top.

Combined with the Soft compound, it delivers excellent grip and damping while retaining better durability and rolling performance than an Ultra Soft setup.

Built for Speed

The Tacky Chan tread was developed around the demands of downhill racing. Stable shoulder knobs provide support through aggressive corners, while long braking edges generate strong braking traction when the trail gets steep.

Ramped centre knobs help maintain efficient rolling performance, giving the Tacky Chan an excellent balance between speed, braking and cornering grip.
