2027 RockShox Vivid Ultimate D1 Rear Shock

The RockShox Vivid Ultimate RC2T D1 is a premium air shock built for aggressive enduro, gravity and eMTB riding. Designed to combine the sensitivity and predictable feel riders love about coil shocks with the adjustability of an air spring, the latest Vivid delivers exceptional traction, support and control when the terrain gets rough.

The new LinearXL air spring provides a more linear, coil-like feel throughout the travel, while the RC2T damper gives riders extensive control over compression and rebound behaviour.

LinearXL Air Spring

The new LinearXL air spring is designed for a supple initial stroke, strong mid-stroke support and predictable behaviour deeper into the travel.

Air pressure makes it easy to tune spring rate for different rider weights, while Bottomless Tokens allow further adjustment of progression – giving you the feel of a gravity-focused shock without giving up the flexibility of an air spring.

RC2T Damper & Adjustable Bottom Out

The RC2T damper provides independent High-Speed and Low-Speed Compression adjustment, a wide rebound adjustment range and an Open/Firm threshold lever.

Adjustable Bottom Out (ABO) adds five levels of additional compression control through the final portion of the travel. This allows the Vivid to retain its more linear feel while providing additional support when using full travel on hard impacts and landings.

Ridden & Tested by CB Cycles

The Vivid Ultimate is ridden and tested by CB Cycles owner Will, giving us first-hand experience with the shock on the trail as well as its setup and tuning.

Fitment & Setup Support

Rear shock compatibility involves more than matching eye-to-eye and stroke measurements. Frame clearance, mounting hardware and suspension design also need to be considered.
