Yakima HangOver 6 Vertical Mountain Bike Rack

The Yakima HangOver 6 is a heavy-duty vertical bike rack designed to carry up to six mountain bikes while using minimal space behind your vehicle. Ideal for mountain bike families, riding groups, race teams and shuttle days, the HangOver 6 provides an efficient way to transport a large number of bikes without needing multiple racks or a trailer.

Unlike conventional hanging racks, the HangOver securely supports each bike by the suspension fork crown, with soft padding helping protect the fork finish. Rotating wheel cups accommodate different bike wheelbases and keep the bikes securely positioned during transport.

A foot-operated tilt mechanism makes loading and unloading easier and allows the rack to tilt away from the vehicle for improved rear access. Two mast height positions and three mast angles provide additional adjustment for vehicle clearance.

The HangOver 6 is designed specifically for mountain bikes fitted with suspension forks.

Compatible with a broad range of:

• 24", 26", 27.5" and 29" mountain bikes where the fork and bike dimensions allow correct engagement

Because the rack supports the bike at the fork crown, compatibility depends on the suspension fork rather than the bike's frame shape.

Important: The HangOver is not designed for bikes with rigid forks.

Vehicle Compatibility

The Yakima HangOver requires a 50mm / 2-inch hitch receiver.

The adjustable mast provides multiple height and angle positions to help achieve suitable clearance between the bikes and your vehicle. Vehicle, towbar and hitch compatibility should always be checked before installation.
