The Galfer G1652 Purple E-Bike Brake Pads are designed specifically for the increased weight, speed and braking demands of electric mountain bikes.

Galfer's G1652 semi-metallic compound provides strong, progressive braking with excellent heat resistance and durability, making it particularly well suited to full-power eMTBs and aggressive trail, enduro and gravity riding.

Compared with a conventional brake pad, the eBike-specific compound is designed to cope with sustained braking loads while providing consistent performance, good modulation and reduced noise and vibration.

The SRAM Maven version is currently fitted to our Forbidden Druid E, paired with SRAM Maven Silver brakes and HS2 rotors. We've been very impressed with the braking power, control and consistency of the Galfer Purple compound and rate it highly for high-performance eMTB use.
