The SRAM RED E1 Flattop Chain is the lightest and most advanced road chain SRAM has ever produced. Designed for SRAM RED AXS 12 and 13-speed road drivetrains, it combines class-leading weight, exceptional durability and ultra-smooth shifting for uncompromising performance on the road and gravel.

SRAM's distinctive Flattop design creates a narrower chain with increased strength, quieter operation and improved drivetrain efficiency. The latest RED E1 chain also features HollowPin™ construction and precision-machined cut-outs in the inner and outer plates, reducing weight by 13 grams compared to the previous generation without sacrificing durability.

Hard Chrome-plated inner plates and rollers provide excellent wear resistance for extended drivetrain life, while the included Flattop PowerLock® quick link makes installation quick and secure. The RED E1 chain is also approved for eBike use on compatible road eBike systems.
