The Burgtec Ride High Josh Bryceland Handlebar is designed for riders who prefer a higher, more commanding cockpit position without compromising the strength and control required for aggressive mountain biking.
Developed with Josh Bryceland, the Ride High bar is particularly well suited to modern trail, enduro, downhill and eMTB builds. The range of rise options makes it easy to increase front-end height without relying on excessive stem spacers, while retaining a clean and purposeful cockpit.
A higher-rise bar can help create a more upright riding position, increase front-end confidence on steep terrain and give the rider more room to move on the bike. It's also a useful option for riders on modern long-reach frames who want to increase stack without shortening the effective cockpit excessively.
At CB Cycles, we stock the Ride High in a broad range of rises so we can set the cockpit up around the rider rather than treating handlebar height as one-size-fits-all.
Available from CB Cycles in:
All variants use a 35mm bar clamp diameter.
Increasing bar rise can significantly change how a bike feels.
A higher cockpit can provide a more centred riding position, reduce the feeling of being pitched over the front of the bike and give you more room to move when descending steep terrain. For taller riders and bikes with relatively low stack heights, it can also produce a much more natural riding position.
The 50–80mm options are particularly useful when a conventional 20–35mm rise bar simply doesn't provide enough height.
Importantly, more rise isn't automatically better. Bar height should work with your frame geometry, stem position, riding style and body proportions.
If you're unsure whether 35, 38, 50, 65 or 80mm rise is right for your bike, CB Cycles can help with cockpit setup and bar selection.
