Avinox 104 BCD Chainring Spider

Avinox 104 BCD Chainring Spider

The Avinox 104 BCD Chainring Spider is a genuine Avinox component designed to allow compatible 104 BCD chainrings to be fitted to Avinox-powered electric mountain bikes.

The 104 BCD interface provides considerably more flexibility when choosing replacement or upgraded chainrings, including different tooth counts and premium aftermarket options.

At CB Cycles, we particularly like the 104 BCD setup because it allows us to use components such as the 5DEV Titanium 104 BCD chainrings that we run on our own Avinox-equipped bikes.

Key Features

  • Genuine Avinox chainring spider
  • 104 BCD chainring mounting interface
  • Designed for compatible Avinox Drive Systems
  • Allows fitment of compatible aftermarket 104 BCD chainrings
  • Provides greater choice of chainring sizes and materials
  • Suitable for replacement and drivetrain upgrades
  • Ideal for high-performance eMTB builds

104 BCD Chainring Options

The 104 BCD interface allows riders to choose a chainring that better suits their bike, terrain and riding style.

For higher-powered Avinox setups, CB Cycles particularly recommends considering a 36T chainring. A larger chainring can encourage greater use of the cassette's available gear range rather than concentrating riding in a small number of higher gears.

We currently use a 5DEV 36T Titanium 104 BCD chainring on our own setup and have found the combination particularly effective for high-power Avinox riding and drivetrain longevity.

Compatibility

Confirm your Avinox drive unit and intended chainring are compatible with the 104 BCD spider interface before ordering.

CB Cycles stocks Avinox drivetrain components, cranksets and compatible chainring upgrades, with Avinox diagnostics and technical support available through our workshop in Australind, WA.
