The 2026 Fox Float X2 Factory is a high-performance air shock built for aggressive trail, enduro and eMTB riding. Combining excellent sensitivity with extensive damping adjustment and the tunability of an air spring, the Float X2 is designed for riders who want maximum control without moving to a coil shock.
With its Factory Series Kashima Coat and highly adjustable damping platform, the Float X2 delivers the support, traction and composure required for hard, technical riding.
Factory Series Kashima Coat
High- and low-speed compression adjustment
High- and low-speed rebound adjustment
Highly tunable air spring
Excellent small-bump sensitivity and traction
Strong support through hard compressions and rough terrain
Wide tuning range for different riders and suspension platforms
Designed for aggressive trail, enduro and eMTB use
The Float X2 is a shock we have first-hand experience riding, setting up and working with at CB Cycles.
It's also the rear shock fitted to the Velduro Rogue, a bike we know extensively through both riding and working on the platform. This gives us practical experience with Float X2 setup and tuning rather than relying solely on manufacturer specifications.
If you're considering a Float X2 upgrade, we can help you determine whether it's suitable for your bike and provide a sensible starting setup for your weight and riding style.
The Float X2 is an excellent option for riders who want near gravity-focused suspension performance while retaining the adjustability of an air spring.
Air pressure and volume can be tuned to change spring rate and progression, while independent compression and rebound adjustments provide considerable control over how the shock behaves on the trail.
The result is a shock that can be configured for everything from technical trail riding through to aggressive enduro and eMTB use.
Rear shock compatibility goes beyond eye-to-eye and stroke measurements. Frame clearance, mounting hardware and suspension characteristics all need to be considered.
Contact CB Cycles Australind with your bike model, year, rider weight and current shock size and we'll help confirm compatibility.
Professional installation and suspension setup are also available through the CB Cycles workshop.
